Down below we would like to introduce ourselves personally.
Tessa Rast - van Paassen
Tessa is a qualified skin and edema therapist. After completing the 4-year higher professional education in Utrecht she has gained years of work experience in edema therapy, wound care and oncological care. After following the post-HBO light and laser therapy course, she became more and more interested in skin improvement through laser therapy. She worked as a freelance skin therapist in more than 13 clinics and practices and now knows all the ins and outs of laser equipment. In 2017 she made the decision to open her own clinic, the Huid & Laserkliniek Delft. Together with her team consisting of a cosmetic doctor, pedicure therapist and paramedical skin therapist, her vision is to help people to enjoy the benefits of radiant skin, which ultimately makes a person feel good about themselves.
"I am constantly amazed by the techniques and the beautiful results that laser therapy can offer and want to share this with people who can really benefit from them. Treating a small spot often takes only a few seconds and the only thing you feel is a pinprick and some heat. Amazing, right! I often use myself as a guinea pig, for example, for removing hair, small pigment spots and bone vessels, but also for injectables in the armpits to prevent perspiration. It is important for me to know how a treatment feels and what happens to the skin in the weeks following a treatment. This way I can talk about the treatments from experience and really support the techniques I offer. During an intake I often use my own arm to show clients how the laser works, this gives people confidence and often makes people feel less nervous. A laser penetrates only a few mm into the skin and does not radiate straight through your entire body, as is sometimes believed. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and safe during an appointment and am fortunate enough to have noticed that people often have full confidence in me fairly quickly”.
Louise Lutke Schiplholt
“My own skin and its problematic features has occupied my attention from a young age. I have sensitive skin, eczema, various (skin) allergies and I suffered from acne during puberty. Not surprising that I immediately felt at home in the skin therapy world. In order to keep my skin in check, I often opt for a chemical peel in the autumn, the lubrication of a sunscreen is part of my daily skin care and I wear mineral makeup. I also write weekly on my blog about these topics. In addition to my own blog, I blog in a team about atopic eczema on an online patient platform. My goal is to make people feel confident again. I know from experience that skin problems can be the cause of lack of confidence or cause disruptions in daily life. With the experienced team and the professional equipment that we have in the clinic, we remedy many of the day to day skin problems that people face. A laser treatment is well tolerated in contrast to what people often think, with the techniques of today you feel light pinpricks and some warmth during the treatments but it is a small amount of discomfort for a great result. It creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere is important to us and we do everything to make you feel at ease here. During an intake appointment, we draw up a treatment plan that is right for you and give tailor-made advice, because everyone’s skin is different after all''.
Mieke van Paassen
Mieke is a pedicure specialist and treats most common foot complaints such as corns, fissures, excessive calluses, ingrown nails and mycosis (fungal nails). "The word pedicure may sound old fashioned in our modern times, but grumpy feet have always been around. Do you have the feeling that your feet are not your best feature? Don’t be ashamed of them; remember, so many people, so many feet! Believe me, I have seen a lot of feet. I suffer from dry feet myself, so I treat them every evening with a balm that keeps the moisture in. I walk, jog and do a lot of sports; therefore I wear a lot of synthetic footwear, which makes my feet perspire. Because of this I am sensitive to (swimmers) eczema, so I use a spray that keeps my skin smooth and makes it stronger. I also regularly go to a pedicure specialist. Believe it or not, the first time I went I found it a little uncomfortable having my feet treated by a 'stranger'. This feeling didn’t last long thankfully, the feeling of relief after my treatment always outweighs the awkwardness. As a pedicure specialist it is of upmost importance to me to always treat the treatment as positive, especially when you come in with complaints and leave with a feeling of being uplifted, this is always my intention! It is important to me that clients experience foot care treatment in a relaxed atmosphere, a rest in an often-stressful time. I want to make my clients feel happy with their feet, so that they leave the treatment with a spring in their step."

"Healthy skin is a reflection of your overall health and an important business card for yourself. It can be achieved through a healthy lifestyle (food, sport, relaxation) and good skin care. It is up to you to determine how far you want to go with improving or rejuvenating your skin. The main thing is that you feel confident about the decisions you make to keep your skin looking young and healthy. Before any decisions are made, we will of course discuss all of the important information relevant to the treatments you are considering and all treatments will be executed with utmost professionalism. It is important to me that clients are satisfied with the treatment they receive and that the results allow them to feel happier with their skin and gain more self-confidence.
